A little bit about Colac CC
Colac is a growing region and we need to look at new and innovative ways in which to meet challenges that will confront our community in the future.
Colac is a growing region and we need to look at new and innovative ways in which to meet challenges that will confront our community in the future.
A locally owned and managed Community Enterprise™ with substantial resources behind it, can go a long way towards supporting individuals and organisations to help make the Colac region a better place to live, both today and in the future. Colac Connected Communities derives its funding from the local community in which it is situated and delivers this funding back to worthy causes which are helping to improve the quality of life of thousands of local residents.
The money it generates therefore stays in the area and contributes to local economic development. There are a growing number of ways you can be involved in supporting your community:
The Colac branch of the Bendigo Bank contributes the following to Colac Connected Communities: .05% of individual banking value for existing Colac Bendigo Bank customers 0.15% of individual banking value for new customers. These contributions enable Colac CC to offer ongoing financial support to community projects in Colac and the surrounding districts at no cost to the customer. One hundred percent of the revenue donated from the Colac community will be distributed to meet a range of local community needs.
The Directors will meet regularly to assess written applications and allocate funds in accordance with the distribution guidelines.
